These General Terms and Conditions govern the booking and purchase of guided tour services offered via the website quowadistours.com, owned by Isabel María Pindado Amezcua, with tax identification number 20888087Q (hereinafter “the Company” or “the Guide”).

By making a booking, the customer (hereinafter “the User”) fully and unreservedly accepts these terms and conditions. We invite you to read them carefully before completing your booking.

1. Purpose of the Service

The Company offers guided tours and walking tours of a cultural, historical and heritage nature in the town of Guadix and its surroundings. The main features of each tour (itinerary, approximate duration, language and price) are detailed on the page for each tour on our website.

2. Booking Process

We adapt to your convenience. To make a booking, the User may use any of the following channels:

  • Via the website: Using our integrated booking system.
  • By telephone or WhatsApp: By messaging or calling +34 634063319
  • Via Telegram: By contacting the same number.
  • By email: By writing to hola@quowadistours.com

Once the details (date, route and number of participants) have been confirmed, the User will receive confirmation with the details of their booking and the exact meeting point.

Company communication channels: To ensure optimal coordination, the User agrees that the Company may use email, WhatsApp or telephone calls as the primary means of sending details regarding the meeting point, reminders, or to urgently notify the User of any incidents or cancellations.

3. Prices and Payment Methods

The prices shown are in Euros (€) and include applicable taxes (VAT), unless otherwise stated. Important: Entrance fees to monuments or museums are not included in the tour price, unless otherwise specified in the specific tour description.

The following payment methods are accepted:

  • Credit or debit card through the website.
  • Cash: Payment made directly to the guide on the day of the tour.
  • Bank transfer: Available on request, primarily for group bookings.
  • Bizum: To the number +34 634063319.

4. Cancellation and Modification Policy

It is essential for us to offer flexibility and a high-quality service, so we apply the following policy:

Cancellations by the User:

Bookings may be cancelled free of charge up to 1 hour before the start of the service (with the right to a full refund if the tour has been paid for in advance).

If the cancellation is made less than 1 hour in advance or the User does not turn up (No Show), no refund will be given.

To request a cancellation or refund, the User must contact us via WhatsApp, Telegram, telephone or email.

Cancellations by the Company:

No minimum group size: Our tours are guaranteed and will take place even if only one person has booked. We do not cancel due to lack of participants.

The Company reserves the right to cancel the tour due to force majeure (extreme weather conditions posing a danger, the guide’s illness or unexpected closure of areas to be visited), or for organisational reasons, provided sufficient advance notice is given.

In the event of cancellation on our part, the User will be notified as soon as possible and offered an alternative date or a full refund of the amount paid.

5. Meeting Point and Punctuality

The exact meeting point will be communicated to the User upon confirmation of the booking.

We ask participants to arrive 10 minutes early.

Out of respect for the rest of the group, a maximum grace period of 5 minutes from the start time will be allowed. After this time, the tour will begin and it will not be possible to join later or claim a refund.

6. Accessibility, Pets and Tour Rules

The User undertakes to follow the guide’s instructions and to behave in a civil and respectful manner. The Company reserves the right to refuse admission in the event of behaviour that disrupts the smooth running of the activity. Minors must always be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Pets: Pets are welcome on outdoor routes (such as the Free Tours). However, they are not permitted inside monuments such as Guadix Cathedral or the Julio Visconti Museum.

Accessibility: Generally speaking, standard tours are not wheelchair-accessible due to the terrain and characteristics of the surroundings. However, we offer the option of designing bespoke accessible tours. Those interested should contact us in advance by email to arrange this.

7. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with Spanish law. For the resolution of any dispute, controversy or disagreement that may arise in the interpretation or performance of these terms and conditions, the competent jurisdiction will depend on the nature of the customer:

If the customer is acting as a consumer or user (private individual): The parties shall submit to the courts and tribunals of the consumer’s place of residence, as established by current legislation on the protection of consumers and users.

If the customer is a business or professional (B2B): The parties agree to submit, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction to which they may be entitled, to the Courts and Tribunals of Guadix (Granada), the registered office of the Company.

8. Protección de datos

In compliance with current data protection regulations (GDPR and LOPDGDD), we inform you that the personal data you provide during the booking will be processed by Isabel María Pindado Amezcua for the purpose of managing the provision of the service.
