The Department of Culture of the Guadix City Council is launching the Guadix Under the Stars program, an astronomical observation initiative that brings scientific outreach to the municipality’s outlying districts. The activity, led by the company Astro Natura, includes an introduction to the summer sky and guided telescope observation to identify constellations, stars, and planets. Attendees are recommended to wear comfortable clothing, bring a light jacket, and bring a hammock, mat, or blanket for added comfort.
August 8, at 11:00 p.m., at the Paulenca football field.
August 9, at 8:30 p.m., in El Llano de Belerda.
August 20, at 10:30 p.m., at the Hernán Valle Hermitage.
Participation is free until full capacity is reached.
